Murder and Treason: Arizona Journalist/Authors

Jeremy Duda is a reporter for the Arizona Capitol Times. His just-published book is “If This Be Treason, The American Rogues and Rebels Who Walked the Line Between Dissent and Betrayal.”

How and why did the concept of treason evolve? Duda takes the reader through both historical and contemporary cases where treason was alleged. One man’s treason is often another’s patriotism.

Which is Edward Snowden? Daniel Ellsberg? One’s political perspective tends to define the answers to this question.

Camille Kimball is a former Arizona television reporter and producer. She is the author of several books which dealt with often-gruesome and infamous murder cases.

Perhaps most well-known to the Phoenix audience is “A Sudden Shot,” an exploration of the Phoenix serial shooter cases which immobilized the metro area in fear several years ago.

In our concluding segment, we explore the craft of writing and ask these accomplished authors to advise aspiring writers how to hone their craft.
