Dr. Mike O’Neil has been analyzing and measuring what people think for over 35 years. As a result, his observations of emerging trends have been widely sought after and reported in local and national media. As a keynote speaker, he regularly brings this insight to interested audiences.
O’Neil Associates, has conducted over 1,700 research projects for just about every type of national and international entity from Fortune 100 companies to startups, government agencies, in litigation, and for nonprofits. The common thread is that each required an understanding what some definable group of people think in order to make informed decisions.
Mike’s survey research training includes significant work at both of the world’s leading academic survey research institutes: graduate work at the National Opinion Research Center of the University of Chicago and postdoctoral studies at the Survey Research Center of the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan.
He has been appointed to the faculty at the University of Michigan, the University of Illinois, and Northwestern University before starting his own firm, O’Neil Associates, in 1981.
Listed in Who’s Who in America, Dr. O’Neil is a Phi Beta Kappa honors graduate of Brown University, from which he also holds a Master’s degree in Sociology. His Ph.D., also in Sociology, is from Northwestern.
